Growth Habits: Climbing stems with numerous aerial roots, 5 or 6 ribs with edges more or less wavy; areoles 0.5 to 0.6 in. (1.2-1.5 cm); pale yellow needle-like spines: 1 central, 0.6 inch long; 4 to 6 radials

Blooming Habits:
White flowers 9 to 10 inches long or more (22-25 cm), with outside segment yellowish. They have a spherical ovary with reddish scales, white hair and spines. The fruit is spherical, 2.4 inches in diameter (6 cm).
