Origin: Tropical and southern Africa

Growth Habits: Small succulent tree, up to 20 feet tall (6 m)

The straight, tall, bare trunk and top branches form a candelabra shape The branches form a string of heart-shaped segments.

Blooming Habits:
Euphorbia cooperi has yellow cyathias are arranged in 3 parallel rows, with the male flowers in the center row, and the bisexual flowers on the outside.

Fruiting Habits:
The large fruit are red when ripening. When ripe, they burst open, flinging individual seeds several meters away.
