Origin: Garden somatic mutant of E. 'Zahnii' which in turn is probably an hybrid involving Echeveria secunda.

Growth Habits: Clustering loose rosettes on short stems

Also spelled 'hoveyii', this particular Echeveria is popular for its blotched or striped rosettes. This is a variation of E. 'Zahnii', and sometimes plain rosettes occur that should be removed.
