Growth Habits: Succulent subshrub perennial, up to 8 inches tall (20 cm)

This plant is occasionally encountered in collections of inexpensive succulents. It is generally mislabelled. The one on picture 1 was labelled Crassula phyturus (thanks to Steve Jankalski for pointing the mistake)
Sometimes misspelled "tortulosum".

Blooming Habits:
Golden yellow star-shaped flowers, in late spring.
