Growth Habits: Solitary cactus, greyish-green stem, 2.4 to 3.2 inches wide (6-8 cm), 4 inches tall (10 cm); 32 prominent ribs; close set areoles; 1 central spine slightly upward pointing, up to 0.4 inch long (1 cm); 3 radials, to 0.2 inch (5 mm)


Blooming Habits:
The diurnal yellow flowers come sporadically. They are up to 0.8 inch long (2 cm), 0.6 inch in diameter (15 mm).
