Scientific Name: Turbinicarpus Χ mombergeri J.Ríha
Synonym: Turbinicarpus mombergeri
Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Mexico (San Luis Potosí), natural hybrid of Turbinicarpus laui and T. pseudopectinatus

Growth Habits: Solitary, greyish green stem, 1.4 to 2 inches tall (4-5 cm), 2 inches in diameter (5 cm); fibrous roots; apex with short white hair; juvenile areoles with 8 or more spreading white radial spines, 3 to 4 mm long.; adult areoles up to 2 central, up to 0.4 inch long (1 cm).


Blooming Habits:
Funnel-shaped white flowers with pink to reddish-brown mid-veins in summer, 1.4 inches wide (3.5 cm). The small fruit is green.
