Synonym: Nyctocereus oaxacensis

Origin: Mexico (Oaxaca)

Growth Habits: Erect stems sometimes climbing, up to 10 feet (3 m), 0.6 to 1.2 in. in diameter (1.5-3 cm); 7-10 obtuse ribs; areoles with white wool; 9 to 12 needle-like spines, reddish when young, with darker tips, up to 1.2 in. long (3 cm).


Blooming Habits:
Nocturnal white flowers with pinkish outside segments, 3.2 to 4 inches long (8 to 10 cm).
