Family: Cactaceae

Sun Exposure: Full sun to part sun

Origin: Mohave desert (Arizona, Colorado, Utah, and Sonora) at 500 to 3000 feet elevation (150-900 m)

Growth Habits: Succulent cholla, segments 6 to 12 inches long (15-30 cm), 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm); spines 1 inch long (2.5 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Blooms in April and May.
