Growth Habits: Small tree or shrub, 4 to 7 feet tall (1.2-2 m), or lower and denser shrub, tuberculate segments 1.8 to 5 (to 8) inches long (4.5-12-20), 0.8 to 1.8 inches in diameter (2-4.5 cm), older segments forming a trunk; areoles 0.1 to 0.2 inch long (3-5 mm), 0.08 to 0.16 inch wide (2-4 mm); 3 to 6 centrals; 4 to 11 radials


Blooming Habits:
Greenish yellow flowers with a reddish tinge, 1.6 inch indiameter (4 cm), followed by edible fruit.
