Growth Habits: Globular cactus, clumping dichotomously, heads up to 2 inches in diameter (5 cm), 2 to 4 central spines, 16 to 22 radials

Slow growing

Blooming Habits:
The Mammillaria crucigera has small 0.5 inch (1.2 cm), deep pink flowers in late winter, early spring.
