Growth Habits: Solitary, or clumping very slowly, up to 2 inches tall (5 cm), 2.5 inches in diameter (6 cm)

Sometimes considered a synonym of Mammillaria crinita.

Blooming Habits:
The 0.4 inches (1 cm), cream flowers are followed by bright red fruit.
