Origin: Mexico (San Luis Potosi: San Francisco, Sierra Alvarez)

Growth Habits: Large clumps, heads 2 inches in height and diameter (5 cm), 1 to 3 central spines with the lower one hooked, 15-20 radials


Blooming Habits:
Carmine flowers, 0.6 inches in diameter (1.5 cm)
