Growth Habits: Solitary, up to 40 inches tall (1 m), 16 inches in diameter (40 cm); mature plants have 25 to 35 ribs; 4 to 8 spines, up to 3 inches long (7.5 cm)


Blooming Habits:
The Ferocactus diguetii var. carmenensis has reddish flowers, 1.6 inches long (4 cm), 1.6 inches in diameter (4 cm). Fruits up to 1.2 inches long (3 cm)
