Growth Habits: Globular cactus, often clumping, up to 2.5 inches in diameter (6 cm); short black central spine, 0.16 inch long (4 mm); 18 to 24 radials, 0.1 inch long (2 mm).

Propagation: Offsets, seeds


Blooming Habits:
Pink flowers in spring, larger than the type.
