Origin: Northwestern Argentina (Tucuman, Salta)

Growth Habits: Solitary or branching, stems 2 to 8 inches tall (5-20 cm), 1.6 to 3.2 inches in diameter (4-8 cm); 11 to 14 ribs; 1 central spine; 5 to 9 radials.

This Echinopsis was named after Dr Philip Silvestri.

Blooming Habits:
White flowers, up to 8 inches long (20 cm)
