Growth Habits: Cylindrical, stems 8 inches long (20 cm), up to 1.8 inches in diameter (4.5 cm), 3 or 5 central spines, up to 0.8 inches in diameter (2 cm), 18 radials, 0.4 inches long (1 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Bright yellow or orange flowers in summer.
