Origin: Mexico (San Luis Potosi)

Growth Habits: Globular cactus, up to 3.6 inches in diameter (9 cm); conical tubercles; 0.3 inches long (0.8 cm), 0.2 inches wide (5 mm); woolly axils; occasionally a central spine, generally none; 12-18 radials


Blooming Habits:
Diurnal flowers with yellow internal segments; purplish red and cream outside segments.
