11 to 14 yellowish radial spines, one central spine. The species is named after E. Palmer who collected it. The second picture is of Coryphantha palmeri 'pectinata'.
Blooming Habits:
Yellowish white flower, 1.2 inches long (3 cm), stigma with 9 lobes.
