Growth Habits: Globular to short cylindrical cactus, up to 8 inches tall (20 cm), 4 inches in diameter (10 cm); conical tubercles, up to 0.8 inch long (2 cm); bare axils; 3 central spines, up to 1 inch long (2.5 cm); about 12 radials


Blooming Habits:
Diurnal yellow flowers, up to 1.2 inches in diameter (3 cm)
