Origin: North central Mexico

Growth Habits: Solitary, club-shaped, 2.4 inches (6 cm) in diameter, 5 inches tall (12 cm); taproot; 0 to 2( to 4) central spines, 0.6 inch (1.5 cm) long; 15 to 25 radial spines, 0.36 to 0.6 inch (0.9 to 1.5 cm) long;


Blooming Habits:
Yellow flowers, 2.4 to 3.2 inches wide (6-8 cm), 1.6 inches long (4 cm), followed by large green fruits.
