Scientific Name: Corryocactus charazanensis Cárdenas

Origin: Bolivia (La Paz)

Growth Habits: Shrubby, basally branching, 6 feet tall (2 m); 4 or 5 ribs; spines 11, 0.2 to 1 inch long(0.5 to 2.5 cm)

Named after 'Charazani' next to La Paz in Peru where it was collected.

Blooming Habits:
Pink flowers 2.4 inches long (6 cm); fruit 1.2 to 2 inches (3 to 5 cm) in diameter; seeds brown, 0.04 to 0.08 inch long (0.1 to 0.2 cm)
