Growth Habits: Shrubby, erect stems 16 to 28 inches tall (40 to 70 cm), 3 to 5 cm in diameter; 12 to 20 ribs; 0 to 3 to 4 central spines, 1 inch (2.5 cm) long; around 20 radial spines;


Blooming Habits:
Flowers 1.6 inches (4 cm) in length, purple; seeds brown
