Synonym: Loxanthocereus clavispinus
Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Peru (Nazca Valley)

Growth Habits: Shrubby, erect stems, up to 40 inches tall (1 m), 3.2 to 4 inches in diameter (10 cm); 14 to 20 ribs; areoles contiguous; 2 or 3 central spines, up to 1.2 inches long (3 cm); up to 30 radials, to 0.6 inches (1.5 cm)


Blooming Habits:
Red flowers, 3.2 inches long (8 cm)
