Scientific Name: Cereus phatnospermus K.Schum.
Synonym: Monvillea phatnosperma
Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Paraguay

Growth Habits: Mostly prostrate, pale green stem up to 6 feet long (1.8 m), 1 inch in diameter (2.5 cm), 4 or 5 ribs, areoles 1 inch apart (2.5 cm), 5 or 6 radials 0.6 inch long (1.5 cm)


Blooming Habits:
White flower, 5 inches long (12 cm). They are folowed by red, elliptical fruits, 3 inches long (7 cm)
