Cereus mirabella


Scientific Name: Cereus mirabella N.P.Taylor
Synonym: Mirabella minensis, Monvillea minensis
Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Brazil (Minas Gerais)

Growth Habits: Shrubby, branched; bluish to greyish stems 0.8 to 1.2 inches in diameter (2 to 3 cm); 9 acute ribs; woolly areoles; 3 to 6 yellow spines, up to 1 inch long (2.5 cm)


Blooming Habits:
White flowers followed by 1.4 inches long fruit (3.5 cm)
