Scientific Name: Cereus lanosus (F.Ritter) P.J.Braun
Synonym: Piptanthocereus lanosus
Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Paraguay (Cordillera dept.)

Growth Habits: Shrubby, semi erect, 5 feet tall (1.5 m); stems 2 to 3 inches in diameter (5 to 7 cm); 5 to 7 ribs; round areoles with white wool; 10 to 14 orange needle-like spines, up to 0.4 inches long (1 cm)
