Family: Cactaceae

Origin: Northern Peru (Huancabamba)

Growth Habits: Tree-like cactus; dense crowns on short trunk; 5 feet tall (1.5 m) or more; 9 to 10 ribs; brownish areoles; 1 to 4 unequal central spines; up to 2 inches long (5 cm); 8 to 10 radials, to 0.4 inch long (1 cm)
