Growth Habits: Clumping cactus, branching underground, bluish stems, up to 8 inches tall (20 cm), 1.8 inches in diameter (4.5 cm); 6 to 8 ribs,slightly tuberculate; 1 to 3 central spines; 5 to 8 radials


Blooming Habits:
Purplish red flowers, up to 3 inches long.
