Growth Habits: Solitary, short cylindrical cactus, up to 2 feet tall (60 cm), 2 inches in diameter (5 cm); 6 to 10 tuberculate ribs; 4 straight or slightly hooked central spines, up to 1.6 inches long (4 cm); 6 to 10 radial spines.


Blooming Habits:
Diurnal, pale red flowers tinged of pink, up to 1.4 inches in diameter (3.5 cm)
