Growth Habits: Tree columnar cactus, up to 33 feet tall (10 m); lightly jointed stems, up to 8 inches in diameter (20 cm); 10 to 13 ribs; 1 long grey central spine, 6-10 radials


Blooming Habits:
One of the few Armatocerei that doesn't have white flowers: carmine red flowers, 1.6 inches in diameter (4 cm)
