Watering Needs: Moderate water to keep good appearance, needs good drainage

Like other milkweeds, this asclepias is a food source to the monarch butterflies.
Blooming Habits:
The Threadleaf Milkweed has decorative flowers and seed pods over a long period of time. The flower clusters are 2 inches wide (5 cm), greenish-white with traces of burgundy.
