Agapanthus
Agapanthus is a genus of tuberous rooted herbs in the Amaryllis family. They are often grown in tubs or pots in climates to cold to allow them to winter outside. The name Agapanthus comes from the Greek for 'love flower'. Agapanthus grows rapidly with adequate water and fertilizer. They should be kept rather dry in winter when they are dormant. They can be divided in the spring or fall. They bloom in early summer.
