looking for the name of a yellow flower

I am looking for the name of a yellow flower which has 8 or 10 petals, 1 inch in diameter, bloom in early spring or winter.
The vine looks exactly like "winter jasmine" except that
winter jasmine has a funnel shape and only 4 or 5 petals.
