Lupines attract butterflies. The blossom of the lupines are great for cut flowers.

Culture:
Place the young lupine plants 18 inches apart (45 cm). They like a well drained soil rich in organic matter. Amend the soil with peat moss or compost before planting.

Propagation:
Soak the seeds for 24 hours before planting.
