The Flame Anisacanthus is an Arizona native, and is drought resistant. It is a good choice for an area that is less formal and get irregular attention.

Blooming Habits:
The Flame Anisacanthus has bright red orange flowers, on 8 inch spikes (20 cm), all the summer. They attract butterflies and hummingbirds.

Culture:
Severe pruning in the spring encourages new growth, and more blossom.
