Growth Habits: Evergreen tree or contained as a wide shrub, rather slow growing, 20 to 50 feet tall (6-15 m), 30 feet spread (9 m), round head; oval dark green leaves, with brown short fuzz on the underside, about 5 inches long (12 cm)

Watering Needs: Some deep watering in summer

Propagation: Cuttings, seed production requires a specialized pollinating wasp.

Ficus 'microphylla' are forms with small leaves.
Ficus rubiginosa 'var. australis' has little or no fuzz on the leaf undersides.
