Growth Habits: shrub, 3 feet tall (90 cm), 2 to 5 feet spread (0.6-1.5 m); glossy green leaves looking like small holly leaves, up to 0.8 inch long (2 cm)

Watering Needs: Moderate water

Propagation: Softwood cuttings under mist, in summer, seeds


Miniature Holly, Singapore Holly (Malpighia  coccigera)

Blooming Habits:
Light pink, delicate, flowers, 0.5 to 0.8 inch wide (12-20 mm), with ruffled petals, coming intermittently during the year.

Fruiting Habits:
Small, bright red drupes, 0.32 inch in diameter (8 mm), in fall and winter.
