Growth Habits: Banana-like, up to 10 feet tall (3 m)

Watering Needs: Abundant water, needs rich soil and regular fertilizer

Propagation: Division, seeds (soak them for a couple of days)

'Red-Yellow' is a cultivar with the bracts bright red and orange.

Blooming Habits:
Erect flower clusters, in spiral, with 7 to 18 red, orange and yellow bracts. The flowers are yellow with a green tip.
