This species is a relatively common epiphytic cactus. It needs a light well drained soil.

Lepismium  houlletianum

Blooming Habits:
Lepismium has funnel shaped cream to yellow flowers, borne at the edge of the leaves. They are followed by small red to black fruits, 0.20 inches in diameter (5 mm)
