Growth Habits: Columnar cactus, greyish green stems up to 6 feet tall (1.8 m), 3 inches in diameter (7.5 cm); 7 to 14 notched ribs; yellowish areolas, 1 greyish central spine, 9-14 radials, tuft of bristles at the tip of mature stems

Watering Needs: Less water in winter
