Heat Tolerance: Afternoon shade is better in the hot deserts

Origin: North America

Growth Habits: Annual or short lived perennial, 18 to 24 inches tall (45-60 cm)

Watering Needs: Light watering

Propagation: Seeds in spring or fall

Cultural Practices:
Sow indoor at 70 to 85F (21 to 29C). Plant 6 week seedlings 12 inches apart (30 cm), or sow in place. Do well in sandy, well drained soil.

Blooming Habits:
Brilliant, daisy-like flowers, 2 inches wide (5 cm), with single, double, semi double forms
