Growth Habits: Solitary, grows slowly up to 40 feet (12 m) 8 feet in diameter (2.5 m); clean gray trunk, 12 inches in diameter (30 cm); palmate leaves, 3 to 5 feet long with very sharp teeth.

Watering Needs: Regular water

Propagation: Seeds, rapid germination, seedlings grow relatively fast

Blooming Habits:
Flower stalk coming from among the leaves.

Fruiting Habits:
Round fruit, brownish red when ripe. 0.75 inch long (2 cm). Round seed: 0.5 inch long (12 mm).
