Celosia are separated in 2 groups depending on the arrangement of their flowers: Crested Cockscomb and Feather Amaranth.

Cultural Practices:
Sow indoor 8 weeks before the planting date. The seeds generally germinate in less than a week. Water with warm water. Plant 8 inches apart (20 cm) after the soil has warmed up (May in Phoenix).
