Leaf: Pinnate, 5 to 10 slightly plumose leaves with 100 to 160 leaflets, 10 feet long (3 m). unarmed, 1 foot long (30 cm) petioles.
Trunk: Green crownshaft, Narrow at the base, thicker at the middle. Gray with rings. 1.5 feet in diameter (45 cm).
Flower: Cream male and female flowers on the same inflorescence. Flower stalk coming from just below the crownshaft, 2.5 feet long.
Fruit: Black. One inch long. Oval.
Seed: Long and narrow.
