Leaf: Pinnate, Young leaves are red and turn green with age. 3 to 6 leaves with 20 to 28 leaflets

Flower: Pink to cream-colored.
Fruit: Crimson.
Seed:

The Blushing palm grows slowly, opening only 3 or 4 leaves a year. The intensity of the red of the young leaves depends on the plant.
